he Lectures on Computational Linguistics is a scientific event organized by the Italian Association for Computational Linguistics (AILC), focusing on key topics in this research area.
The 2025 edition is organized not only by AILC but also by the Department of Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literatures at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, and the Department of Informatics, Systems, and Communication at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
The interdisciplinary nature of the school spans two main areas: humanities, focusing on linguistic resource creation, and computer science, particularly concerning large language models. The program will include tutorials, workshops, and evening seminars that will address significant challenges in the field.
The school primarily targets PhD and Master’s students, though no minimum academic qualification is required to attend. Participation is free of charge but subject to registration.
Student presentations
Participants are invited to present their research during two “Student Sessions”. To apply, students must submit an abstract of no more than 500 words in English to ailc.lectures@gmail.com by May 10, 2025 (3 min. + poster).
